how did you get my picture in your mirror?
This is said quite nicely, however, it has been said alot of times, in similar ways, i.e. "alternate reality", "fools gold", mirror and vanity. This is always dangerous territory.
IMHO this manages to escape, and has a very nice flow and feel to it.
As a question (for my satisfaction) : Why did you use the word "Conceiving"?
