This needs a continuation...

This affair is in a war zone and in war time. Perhaps you need to be reassigned out of that cheating CO's unit and back to the States where his wife is at. Then you can continue with them trying to start their own family, complete with military benefits, etc., etc., with the cheating CO staying in a war time unit to develop his own affair with some little PFC or Specialist WAC.
