It drives me nuts...
...when a poet crams so much story into so few lines. And then to realize that the poem arose from inital silliness!!!
And then the fires started... whew!
I believe
that this poem says a lot, implies even more. Reminds me of the freaks burning books and Beatles' albums just because they didnt understand. Good work Boo :)

The brevity of this poem is powerful, though I place it, through my imagination, into a more contemporary context. I like the use of natural elements, and the juxtaposition between the natural rain/thunderstorms and the man made, fire, which on a symbolic level do more for me than I can possibly articulate here.
