As a High School Literature Professor, I see a very classic writing style here. I was surprised by the ending similar to the vintage 'choose-your-own-adventure' short novels. It brings a new aspect of reader interaction to the story which is unique. Excellent piece of art. Have you already submitted both choice directions? Just curious.
