Love a Christmas story that has you cheering on the victim.

You could have made it a little longer to give the characters more depth. What did they do during their courtship? How did they meet? What are the family dynamics? You write effortlessly, I'm jealous!!

This was a really touching story.

For those who asked, if you read the opening they met in high school, so they went to high school. This is an excellent short story. :) Perhaps next year you could tell us how their lives went the first year of marriage.
