Haven't read this story yet, just noticed the mistake in the story description. If one transitions from male to female, then that person would be a "daughter", not a "son", and in my experience trans people are VERY sensitive about that. I'm sure that the mistake was innocent, but you will likely put off people if you don't rectify it.
