On a much more enjoyable note, I do like how you keep referencing things that should be mundane but we know will probably turn out to be menacing, if not straight up homicidal... ie, The Clock or the Doll

Another thing I like is that, Emily seemed to become a packrat and even uncaring in some of her decisions but we are slowly learning that it was all for a purpose. Sometimes we are reminded that Emily was human and therefore made mistakes and was bias towards some of the residents. She wasnt infallible, like so many "previous caretakers" are in this kind of genre, and I honestly like that, it's refreshing.

As a whole this series reminds me of shows like Torchwood or Sanctuary however have an X-rated twist. Or maybe akin to the video game Undertale, where the entire point of the game is the option to make friends with the Monsters encountered... Except in this version, friendship ends in fucking your friends til they disperse into an electrical miasma of pleasure, lol

Definitely one of the best I have read online. While there is the occasional typo or grammatical error, the story is in the main well written. The crafting of the characters is consistent and well thought out. While the erotic scenes, I would go so far as to say love scenes, are central to the story, they are definitely part of what is happening and not just stuck in to make it sexy. Interesting concept and thus far the story arch is keeping me reading.

Good job not having him buy a gun if he didn't know the first thing about gun ownership, but the reasoning is too flimsy. First of all, in order to clean a gun requires it to be taken apart, so guns are designed to be dismantled, cleaned, lubed, and then reassembled. Second, the issue of safety with a Jenny type situation: you have daggers, a crossbow, magical beings with spells that may get taken over if the defenses fall, stone golems from gems, a pocket sized rock that has greater potential for destruction than the Tsara Bomba...need I go on? A five foot belt with a metal buckle can kill at a distance quite easily.

I don't mind the safety consciousness, in fact that is a good thing, but if he feels it might be needed, it would be smarter to get trained and be that much more capable at defending the house. Guns can be loaded with silver, lead, iron, a blunderbuss can have cutlerly loaded in it and used like a shotgun. If we are introducing the shide, then having something that can defend against them from a distance is smart.

Not to belabor the point, just noting the reasoning for not have a firearm was extremely flimsy.

I enjoy reading about the most messed up type of sex. Everything has been amazing so far. Yet one of my biggest dislikes in sex be it irl or in books is spitting. I got instantly turned off as soon as Mike spit on his hand to rub his dick lmao

Which leaves me with two problems: One it takes up entirely too Munch of my time, and second I at becoming increasingly agitated with the thought of what to do when I run out of chapters.

I have to use Anonymous due a Lit. glitch after my old computer broke and I had problems remembering my password, oh well. I agree that Annabelle's humorously horny monstrous maidens can be irritatingly addictive, but still a joy! Also, I wouldn't mind if Mike started packing a 9mm, but I think Annabelle would have a harder time writing under that constraint/addition.

I am currently rereading this series and can say that this story is quite amazing, and just wait until you get to the "battle of the front yard", featuring a humongous cast of villains, 'nuff said! (Spoiler Alert!!!)

Great start with the introduction to to numerous characters. First the Preservation Society is just super creepy and bad and Lily did say they would be upset about losing their succubus. I hope this means we see more of her. Dana getting a storyline all to herself seems to be setting her up for a larger part in the series, and despite her past she showed interest in Mike so I am curious to see if that resumes.

Loved the Abella scene in the last chapter and the Tink scene in this one. I love how shy Abella can be despite being the strongest amongst them. And Tinks curiosity finding that book was funny. It will be interesting to see what will become of this new monster, a cyclops named Sofia. She seems to be a bit on the tough side.

Somehow, I suspect this has absolutely nothing to do with female authors, other than your bigotry. No, it has everything to do with your failure to engage with a plot and track more than one storyline at once.
