I don't geddit.
I've had a few "I don't geddit" feedbacks on this story.
So here's what's actually happening in the story. A guy is ragining consciousness after a coma, caused by a blow from a falling tree. The tree fell while he and his wife when were caught in a thunderstorm in the woods. His wife has been badly scarred on her face, and is crying throughout the story because when he recovers he will see what's happened to her.

That what this story was, and beautifully written, too. I so got it, Joe. It gave me chills and that is always the mark (for me) of a good horror story. Nice eroticism there, too.
