I don't think anyone heard
I first read this a year or two ago, and I still keep thinking about it; it's one of my all-time favorites. The moment when she indicates her submission by dropping her voice and saying "I don't think anyone heard," is the brilliant balancing point of the whole story.

Detractors miss the point of the voyeuristic thrill associated with a husband watching a woman they find supremely desirable - ie their own wife - as the ultimate embodiment of that voyeuristic pleasure, and further heightened by the 'forbidden' nature of the situation. 5-stars!
