I assume that should be "dark cloud"?

Enjoying the series, and the last line struck me funny at first. Then it didn’t.

I freaking loved this chapter. Great mix of character development via dialogue and backdoor comment from the POV character. I'm loving this series.

"She was walking out of a young republicans meeting"

While I love the story, I wish you hadn't included this line.

It reminds the reader of things (like politics) that they'd probably rather forget about for a little while.
