Excellent plot, method of revenge is excellent, but it sort of seemed like it came out of a vacuum. Perhaps a prequel To flesh out how all of this got started.

The minute she got inside. He was heated up. He had to know that he had tried to steal from her. Had to know she might know. Knew that she had screwed him with everyone. And why, before he went completely blind, didn't he grab the gun off the seat and kill her then? Too many holes in this. I think he pulls the trigger and this silly tale was over before it started.
