I love your writing
You are doing very well with this story. I love it. It is so romantic. Thanks
Romantic? What BS
What is romantic about a kidnapping? Can someone tell me that? Is it romantic to take a woman against her will and force her into slavery? This story makes a mockery of romance!
this is...
romantic in its own way...she already has feelings for her future husband and although yes...stolen is scary im sure it can be rather exciting when things end up well and this is going to go well i bet*smile*...listen to your head and heart in writing some people don't realize its a story..a fantasy lol...keep up the awesome work. respectfully fan in Texas naynay
Weird
How can a public consummation be romantic?
Public Consumation
A public consumation can be romantic if the groom goes out of his way to protect the sensitivity of the bride. He can do this in the context of his culture. Royal consumations have a history of being witnessed in European as well as Asian and Arabian cultures.
Strange
The story is set elaborately in a muslim environment with the groom and his family all being traditional muslims, yet the writer is mentioning a Church wedding. Please tell us in which part of this world do muslims have a church wedding. VERY STRANGE indeed
Give the author a break!
I feel that there were times where the story is starting to lose it's strength, but overall it was good. Now a lesson to everyone regarding culture.
You can be in a culture where it seems that a certain religion's traditions are predominant, yet the people themselves are not of that religion. For example, many Indian people are not Hindu, but there are certain traditions that can be misconstrued as Hindu that are followed by Indians. One example would be arranged marrriages-- many Christians and Muslims adhere to that tradition, in spite of the Hindu attachment to it. There are also many customs that are mislabeled as Hindu but are not. It's possible to be in a country that has ancient traditions normally associated with a particular religion, but everyone else is Christian. Religion and tradition/culture are two different things.
I had to say this
ARRANGED MARRIAGES ARE NOT TRADITIONALLY HINDU! It's a regional thing! What the person below me said is utter bakwas! And I agree, public consummations are humiliating and serve no purpose, at least the way I see it.
