I have read a number of period-set stories but this one is by far the best. I really felt part of the story and could easily visualise the surroundings. Exceptionally well written and I certainly look forward to seeing what other works you can create. Great job 😉

Unfortunately I didn't see Coney Island until it was well past its prime in the 1960s. Steeplechase was the last of the big parks to close around 1964.

I love reference to The Awakening! I also love that her experiences are so honest! Like this man smells like a swamp but I'll deal since I probably don't smell like a bouquet either! 10/10
