I thought at the end of episode one there was a definite sword theme pointed at M'Lady? So no more M'Lady.

...and that's saying a lot. The plot, sound effects and voice acting created a special moment, especially when you were crying. I hope we'll get a fourth and fifth installment.

As for the ending of the first tale, the threat with the knife was ambiguous and, I think, reflected in M'lady's threat here.
