As I see it, there will never be true consequences
to this story. The wife will continue her affair with this man and others as time goes on. The husband will continue to be completely clueless. The children will be completely clueless. She will feel absolutely no remorse for her actions. She will continue to betray her husbands love over and over.
It is no use in complaining to the author, she will continue writing this type of story. I suggest that the readers that enjoy cheating wife stories who have no remorse or love for their husbands will enjoy this type of story. For the others that detest this type of story, just skim down, vote a 1 and move on to another story. This one will disappoint.
To the author, your writing skills are readily apparent. It's your subject matter that raises such ire. If this type of story excites you, then more power to you. I hope you have a thick skin.

I have taken your advice! I imagine that the writer will continue down the same path, already well trodden by many others, until she also becomes bored with the journey, which appears ultimately to have no defined destination. Shame! The technical writing ability is clearly there.
Sucks - then it really sucks
Wasted talent - sick mind - jaded future - butt hurray from the sick one's and the author created braindead husband who she still loves very much when he's away.
Now bringing up the children regularly is just a touch of genius to reenvigorate the sick one's - when she gets pregnate it will be a gleefull occasion - but first she gets sold off into slavery to a black pimp. See how this can really get normal and pleasantly entertainingly real!
So, author how badly can you use your talent - how little do you respect yourself in retrospect or do you have a mirror???
