Very good. I loved the repetition at the beginning and end. I had to read it twice, but you certainly got the message across.

Needs a little cleaning up, i.e. some better line breaks.
Only thing I object to is Reznor reference may need a little more fattening (NIN?)
"Seek out the high that you can sustain." is a killer line, I would use it also, as is, as the end line.
I like this dual use of high running through this.

This work caught my attention because I love the mythical references. It made me go and research.. which is a sign for me of a good poem! I do not like the format of the work, it needs to be tightened up but the message is strong and leaves me wondering .... needing to know more..and undertanding all at once~
