Very well done!

This is nicely sculpted. Just tight enough to draw forth images in the mind’s eye that fade into the next as the words flow on. – Very smooth – and the ending is a delicious twist!
The only line that loses me is “Trafalgaring mating fire-beetles”. I don’t know the reference so I miss the image. :(
