Very moving story! Hope there's more. That's the sign of a great story, but , if there's not, it's still a great story!

I got wet reading it. I am a visual person and wondered how the sand must have hampered their experience. I would like to have read more about their bodies and shapes but it was a good read. I can't help but hope her just once turned into a regular occurrence in his bed! A mom and son sharing a bed is such a beautiful thought and I believe it happens a lot more frequently than most believe.

Their lovemaking on the beach had me thinking back to a time 54 years ago when I had to say goodbye to a loved one that I knew I might never see again and on that day as I drove away, Frank Sinatra was singing "Softly, as I leave you softly, for my heart would break if you should wake and see me go".

Such a good storyline. The build-up was excellent, no rush to sex but a sensuous growth of feelings towards one another. Once the sex did start it was very erotic. I would hope the story does continue but if it doesn't the story stands so well on its own.

This story evokes such a depth of emotions you would think that it was much longer than it actually is. Beautifully written and wonderfully told. Bitter sweet, sexy, and a little sad. As to whether they continue their new relationship or end it here, I personally think that should be left to the imagination of each reader. 5 Stars. Well done.

This is really well written. It has a great layout, I really hope there is a future for them together. Not more people. Doing that would ruin what you have begun. There is a great love foundation just for the two.!!!

This is very well constructed, it flows so well and although the sex was anticipated (due to good scene setting), it was handled very sensuously and erotically, I thoroughly enjoyed this and really hope that this is not the end of their story.

This story is not only a fantastic incestuous mother and son love story, but it is built on a ten-month widowed mother, grieving over the loss of her previously, only true love. She decides, with their twenty-one year old son, Adam to a couple days vacation, at the beach spot where the three of them vacationed for the previous fourteen years. She goes with her son--not saying so--but with her intent to say her silent good-byes to her deceased husband.

Mara, Adam's mother, is a sexual dynamo, and her son realizes as much shortly after their arrival at the beach resort she knows so well. Mara and son Adam bring an unusual caring sensuality between the both of them. She loves her son, but now finds herself "in love with Adam, her son" for she will depend on now for many aspects of her future life. We do not know how long their affair will progress into their futures, once they return home after their third day of mourning--and sexual awakening. The story does leave each reader with many scenarios of their future lives. Needless to say, but in my imagination they began a new"cocoon" of happiness with their own likes of style, sex, new-found love, emotional and future familial exploration.

For this type and style of story to be written with such aplomb and finesse, the writer must have gotten into character, emotionally, to have finished such an emotional and love-fest of Mara and her son, Adam. The story is a classy, classic with great roles for the characters, an under lying theme of uniqueness, love, romance, caring and sincerity. An epic of literature greatness!

I wouldn't mind banging my mother or sister as long as they stay slender, age would be no barrier.

I was getting bored was no sex till the end

This is more a story for a man in his twilight years like me. I have had some thoughts of how the wife would cope if I died first and then vs a versa. This is one of the best story I have read here.

Great story, great style and pace.

There is no way I can match the eloquence of bigdaddyg123 below. He says it all. This narrative was so sad, so tender and so romantic. I would love to have a peek at their future. Some may believe that they will continue to care and comfort each other as they did on those last days at the beach house. I may be one of them. But if they never again come together as they did then, it would make this narrative so much more poignant. I believe this to be the best single chapter narrative I’ve read so far on this website and maybe anywhere else for that matter in this genre.

When I started to read this incredible tale I was at the age I am which is just past 90 years. At its conclusion, I was but a youth of 19 years. A soldier in the army firing shot after shot of what my body held into as many girls who knew what they were letting themselves in for. It was an all-out war with an enemy willing to surrender.

I get it that an author tries for diversity within his or her oeuvre, for a number of reasons. But the more specific one ventures into the varied sex practices and mental peculiarities of the human race, the bigger the risk to offend part of the audience. This story however should be able to touch the majority of an however heterogeneous readership. If you read this having lost loved ones it really hits close to home. It's just my opinion- what else- but this strikes me as one of SD's best works.

I've written my previous remarks in ignorance of the existing comments. I'm glad that other readers left their praises detailing what's great about this story in a much more eloquent and descriptive way than I ever could. No need to repeat them. I read similarly themed well written stories here that went on for 8, 10 or more Literotica pages without conveying much more content essentially. "At Play On The Sand With Mom" occupies just 2 pages and a bit! This IS a masterpiece!

1 the beach is always cold but in the middle of summer you don't feel it not even California beaches I don't know where you getting a beach In California Is too cold to swim in the middle of August but I suggest you actually go to California to the beach in middle of August and discover the tempture your self first before trying write about it cause it is clear you never been there in the middle August

I wanted to comment on the remark about the temperature of the water. The idea that the ocean off California is warm is commonly held, but mistaken. North of Point Concepcion, which is just north of Santa Barbara, the water turns colder because it's not warmed by the warm current that comes from the South. North of San Francisco, the summer water temperature is in the 50s, which for most people is cold and uncomfortable to swim in. Plus the tides are mostly inhospitable for swimming in the north. The beaches are great to look at, but not so great to swim in.

Even in southern California the ocean water is cooler than it is at similar latitudes on the East Coast of the US. Florida has significantly warmer water than California. In San Diego, the southernmost large city in California, water temperature gets up close to 70 in the summer. That's not really warm. In Hawaii, by contrast, it gets up to 82. In Miami it gets well into the 80s in summer.

This is in my opinion one of my top 3 favorite story's that really makes a person feel the entire story start to finish. Never a dull moment and very classy as it's written. Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 masterpiece.

Excellent erotic story leaving the future unknown. Do they share their bodies again, or was this a once in a lifetime tryst? You hinted well that the second time they went to their almost private beach she had nothing on under her dress. Good for her for instigating the joining her son would never have done on his own.

I expected some oral sex, but that might happen if their love/lust breaks through again. Mom may need to make it happen.

This was a great read provided by a talented writer. I don’t find these here often. I hope it isn’t only wishful thinking when I say I look forward to reading more of these two.

I would love this guy's stories but to many writers are using the word 'cunt'. It just reads as totally disrespectful and spoils the feeling for the story. At the same time it certainly is Not an erotic word. It's way too hard!! If they used the Latin 'cunny' it would be much more acceptable. I hope the author and other writers take note!!
