I had a sorta different take on this at first..but ,, a little story 4 u...when I was about 15 or so...my dad ..who was a career military soul and an eclectic...came to me in the middle of the night..and made me go with him into the deep woods...being an only child < he wanted really a boy...he gave me the info he would have passed to a son...he led me deep into the woods and I had to help in in the middle of winter...hold the light while he skinned a deer...it still haunts me to this day holding that carbon light , seeing the smoke rising from the blood...and the ghosts that never sleep...grand write ...much much blessings....blue

I like this with the drawings a lot!! I never hunted a deer and only see them when they run across the road not to often. This poem has more then nice words for the drawings it is very ZEN and I like it!!!
