Weynik is a charcater originally created by a friend of mine on Facebook for his own stories, and we do crossovers. If you're curious about Weynik's species (a Roylan), and what he might look like, you see one of them in the new JJ Abrams movies - he's the little guy who pals around with SImon Pegg's Scotty.

Search engines keep thinking I mean red-skinned onions. Also interesting, but not nearly as potentially nefarious. I don't think I've heard of this particular sub-group before.

You're right, red-skinned Orions aren't actually canon; they're an invention of another friend of mine in her own fanfic, so I thought I'd give her a nod, too :-)

Interesting though, like the Orions have their own 1% which are marked by a physical difference. Perhaps they produce so much of whichever hormone causes confidence in Orions it mutates their pigment.
