Takes a brave soul...
...to rag on The most prominent religions in the western world. And I admit while I agree with most of it, I wondered just how serious you are about you views. You seem to take a comedic view of it all even though the points you make are very real. I get angry when I think about some of the things you said. Not because I disagree, but because when I really look at them, they make more sense than the alternatives. I would be very interested in your views of other aspects of Christianity and Judism.
Actually
I'd like to see him take on anything other than Catholicism. There are several notable issues there that shows a poor understanding of the bible (as christianity has no understanding of the bible, and everything they believe is made up later), so if his understanding were more than literal (when that, for instance the commandment not to steal in the original hebrew refers specifically to kidnapping) I'm sure this would be a very different essay.
If You
cared more for yourself you wouldn't want or have time for the introspections and justifications for the way you feel.

Thanks for the honest insight. It takes guts to blast organizied religion and you are to be commended for doing so. How about hitting the other major players also just to see how the same control methods are used by different groups.

Apparently only exists through the Christian god. I am free to voice my oppinions as long as they don't oppose the church. Is that it?
Sadly those who believe they have the guts to stand up for their religion don't even have the guts to leave their name. They don't want to *discuss* my essay, because deep down, they know as well as I do that Christianity is a house of lies. Instead they call me evil and run away.

My guess is that many are saying..."Darn..wish I had written that!" Yours will not be a popular opinion but makes compelling sense and is one everyone should think about. This should win the contest on guts and enterprise alone!

Yes it IS (mostly) tongue in cheek but I hope it opened your eyes enough to question what you think you know. If something doesn't quite make sense to you, do a little fact checking and some old fashioned research and find the TRUTH. Blind faith is for fools who can't think for themselves.
