a nice, sweet story.

2 things.

1-it seemed to move very fast like jet on the parts beside the sex. summaries before and after.

2-the last third was all summary, a couple good conversations could have been used to summarize as well and make it feel less like dry history.

Brought tears to this old man's eyes. I normally don't like a story with a young child involved but this one was special. They did nothing until she was well over the age of consent and you presented the love correctly for me to enjoy. Thank you so much for this great read.

If the story would've ended at the end of the charity function , I would've thought of it as "brilliant" , but.....Even if the story was set in the mid seventies , unlikely with the "late" model Honda , catamarans and premium wine auctions , the writer would have submitted the story in roundabout 2035 or so.....as the deaths of Bill and Melanie were still in "past tense"......Now where is the Tardis????

It was still a great story - and lost nothing by taking the time to let him grow old.

Besides a late model Honda in the 70's would have exited even a 4 wheeled one - lol.some of us are old enough to remember that.

The basic story line is good and an enjoyable read. There are those who frequent Lit who will take me to task for my next statement. Frankly I think you could have improved this story if it had of had a lot less explicit sex in it.

The infamous BUT. First I insist on once again saying how enjoyable the story was. Accept for my but (that does not sound right, lol). I hate nit pickers but her dad was to give her away at the ALTAR not alter (please google the definition of the two).

Anon 12/24/17,well you're entitled to your opinion for what it's worth,but I think that you're so wrong.People can and do fall in love with even greater age spans than what was written in this story.How do I know?My wife was 18 years younger than me and the only reason we're apart now is due to her death some years ago.And no,it had nothing to do with power,wealth,or social position,like some would have you believe as being the only reason that a younger woman would be with an older man,as I have none of any of these.The one thing that you're right about is that it's fantasy,but that's what these stories are all about.
