But, again, Ktsema also tries to bring in larger issues. Unfortunately, he/she never goes beyond the separation, describing to the readers the suffer or lack thereof (perhaps it's the latter, 'tis why he never described it) that the cheater went through. Only the cheated spouse that we read that's been suffering.
IMO, it would have some more zest to it if the author goes on to talk about the post trauma, for both, allowing, if ever possible, for the respective people, now separated, to head on their directions: --- say, with the decent spouse finding love, continuing on with life and family and the cheating spouse "enjoying" his/her new life style, with possible serious repurcussions,,,
No need to cut off the other party's genitals! That's criminal and severely punishable! Why carry out such acts FOR someone who does not even deserve to be associated with, much less love by, you?
The worst "punishment" for the cheating spouse is to live for many years and to KNOW that his/her life stagnates or goes down hill while the good, hard working, trust worthy spouse continues to live well and to grow, in spirit, in emotional development, in maturity, and in love with another person who is worthy of his/her time, trust, and love,,,,, THAT's "punishment"!
