Perfect- Finally a well told realistic story!

Absolutely perfect! This is first decent revenge story I have seen in a long time. Not to say that HDK, Longhorn, Headhuntertales, Jakewho69 and others did not do justice but this one is a homerun. Thanks, you made our week!

Good!

I've read the other stories by Ohio and generally had big problems with them due to huge plot and character inconsistencies. But this one was spot on! And I'm not just saying that because the guy was refreshingly non-wimpy. In fact, I'm a sucker for reconcilliations. But sometimes some relationships can't or shouldn't be saved, and this was one of those times.

Great story

I really like how the husband handled this situation and didn't just walk away from the kids. After all they are completely innocent and would be far better off with him instead of the wife even if he isn't the biological father.

Would be cool to see a sequel with Denise as the new wife being a true loving wife to him and the kids with maybe one of their own with the ex-wife seeing finally what she lost and how bad she screwed up.

Great work as aways.

Great story!

A really first rate story! Nicely edited, good flow, nice build up.

I particularly liked the romance and the two kids. After all that had happened to the poor guy, he deserved a break.

I wasn't particularly enthused with the continued sex with his wife, but it did make the final revenge on his wife particularly sweet!

Keep writing!

Good story and great revenge too. I wondered if she stayed in town where everyone knew what she did or did she leave town and not see the kids. I'm betting she left town. What happened to the other man and woman? Did she divorce him or not. Those weren'ty answered in your story. BUT! Still a great story. I love revenge stories. V

This story is the Best--THE BEST. All the faults from "House of Cards" are gone. This story is lean, has surprises, has hot sex, has revenge, has ingenuity, has----this is THE BEST. This is what a story should be.

OK....But Focus on Child Custody is UNREAL

What is this insane focus on him having custody of the kids??? Women think like that, not men. A man would be quite happy to let the wife have full custody with him having visitation rights. No man starting a new life wants the responsibility of full time child care -and little kids need their mothers more than they need their fathers.

This is a common theme in cheating stories -the man always acts like a woman when it comes to wanting custody of the kids. This is not reality.

Thank you for continuing to be an author

that has strong husband and father figures in your stories. Ones that don't take the crap that cheating wives bring into a marriage. With all the wimp husband/slut-wife stories that infest this site like flies on shit, it is refreshing to read a story that has the average man's take on infidelity. Keep up the good work!

I understand why he wanted the kids, for all those years he loved them like they were his, besides what happened was not the kids fault. Sorry,

I really liked this story. He did exactly what I would want to do. I was hoping upon hope that there wouldn't be a twist like you did in House of Cards and I am glad it ended this way.

Very well done!

What a very, very good story! It was uncomfortable to read at times, and I was hoping for some way back for those two, and sometimes an author provides a hidden pathway to reconciliation. But the deceit and treachery by the wife and her lover were just too much. Your ending was appropriate given the premise of the story.

In the end you portrayed a man bent on providing a just and measured response. It was harsh, but certainly less harsh than him beating her senseless. Unfortunately, in the real world people have been killed for far less. So I was pleased that you limited the violence

Great Story

As far as I am concerned, this is your best so far.

While everything seemed perfect, I have a slight problem believing the video and notes being kept at home. Do real people do that? What makes it even less believable is that one video was pretty old and the other was new. What happened in the middle? Was she conceited enough to actually watch those videos when her husband was away (and her lover was on vacation with his family)?

I would have liked it more if he kept Harry's face. He was already legally bound by the agreements. He could have kept hidden the fact about who was the real father, but otherwise he could have punished that asshole even more.

Even though it was an intregal part of the revenge plan to get monry for the two kids, still prefer the original scenario you had going in page 2 and the lover's wife beating the bastard over the head with a flower vase.

Great job. good writing, good storyline, and follow through on the revenge aspect with no wimping out at the last moment.

Outstanding. Wish I could vote 1,000 instead of just a measley 100.

Just Short of Exceptional

Nearly a perfect story and the talent displayed is clearly second to none. Each story has helped refine your abilities - the climb in credibility has been reached.

In this extreme situation, you left no stone unturned that everyone would agree that she didn't deserve reconciliation consideration. It will be interesting to now see how you react to a short term several time affair that you catch early.

To hopefully answer some of the questions raised - he couldn't afford to burn Harry's company income or investments by divorce or lawsuits now could he? Kill the Golden Goose? Also, several things must be present to precipitate a story - finding evidence is one and by my own experience not unusual. Then admit that there really is literary licence.

Short stories of 4 chapters or less are as difficult as novels. Compression without losing meaning and impact yet enough stage setting and background for you to feel the characters as the author intends. These things are not easy are they author.

The measure of growth from your first to this one is significant as your skills and confidence grows. It isn't just about non-reconciliation - it is about credibility and respect and self respect for the story, us and you.

Wonderful work author - your talent, time and theme of marital consequence is very much appreciated - many of us hope for more tales of reality from you! --- with High Regard

AnonymousAnonymousover 18 years ago
Good story, but perhaps flawed

I liked your story too. But I have to agree with "Minigales in California" about the illogical placement of those damning letters and videos at home where the husband could find them. Also the husbands patience to play it all out was a bit unreal. But, it remains a good story with a clever ending.

Minority vote

Sorry, but there's always got to be one reader that casts a minority vote. The writing was excellant as it always is with Ohio. but I found the plot completely depressing. The wife was utterly depraved and deserved to be divorced while her lover deserved to be beaten, but after that it got too vicious and vindictive for me.The husbands rage was understandable but the four weeks of loving with traitorous wife was almost as rotten as the wife's affair and humiliating her in front of the town while he served the divorce papers was over the top. Good writing but depressing story. the Ct. Yankee

AnonymousAnonymousover 18 years ago
Our Conneticut Yankee hit the nail on the head.

The plot was very good and the idea of the letter 'A' meaning so much was very good. The husband's lies and destructive behavior at the end was difficult to read and impossible to admire. She is the mother of the children he loves so much. It cannot help them to have their mother humiliated so badly. His revenge was self-centered and destructive.

AnonymousAnonymousover 18 years ago
good story but unfortunately

the wife's SIMPLY NOT intelligent enough to be able to suffer what the vengeful husband has been scheming to do to her,,,

the cheating is therefore not an issue; it's a given. she is the sex slave of another man and has had two kids by him.

any other person who wanted her for the same and had treated her the same way WOULD ALSO have had her, too,,,

it is her lack of average intelligence that is relevant.

the author makes this woman have no more than an imbicilic IQ,,, 60-80.

bonobos and chimps love sex, as much as if not more than homo sapiens,,, esp. bonobos. they can and do get pregnant by different males, yes,,, and they also get jealous, with all these sexy activities among them, yes,,, but why punish them,,, why punish a woman like this one the author created here,,,

this I do not understand; a smart, vengeful man does not torture those he consorts with, even if I agree he should raise those offspring as if they were his.

but I'll be damned, if I were he, if their biological dad didn't fork up some of the needed resources! working to raise one kid is hard enough; but two and without a wife and they're not yours biologically? yeah, right! chimps and bonobos and all other animals fight viciously because they want their GENES passed on!

don't kid yourself; homo sapiens have not metamorphosed beyond that stage of consciousness, yet!~

Good story if you like harlequin romance novels

Have you ever noticed the similiarities between the words erotica, and erection? I come to this site to read erotica that will give me an erection amongst other things. I do not come to this site to read husband revenge stories that have only the fact that the wife cheated for any realation to erotica. The one sex scene here seemed like a 'by the way I need to have a little sex to post on this site.'

Deceit, duplicity,and.......REVENGE!!! Love it!!!

Fabulous work, Ohio, just such a sensational plot, characters and finale!!! Terrific how you emancipated him from his totally devastating position of discovery that everything in his life was bound with deceit, to extracting his vengeance on those who betrayed him. So refreshing to see a character set go from her having total hand in the relationship, to him having well and truly the upper hand overall.

Personally I related to the ethic (often absent in this genre)that the crime was not forgivable....too long, too much betrayal, the ultimate, total, and permanent destruction of the marriage. My comment (not criticism) is that you could have developed his utter devastation and emotional response at the discovery a little further, even though it's fiction, only a tiny fraction of devoted hubby's would have been able to cope in the way he initially did.

Extremely enjoyable......MORE PLEASE!!!

Definitely Revenge

I like what he did to good old Harry. I don't like as much the public humiliation of the wife. It will get to the kids and that isn't what he should want his kids to know about.

And the flaw. All she had to do was pull a cable or two out to stop the presentation.

GOOD REVENGE STORY

Excellent storyline up to a point, but ...

excellent story telling, but the work had a deep contradiction at its core. this is a man who loves his family. his revenge at the end will lead to his family's destruction--the children will find out fairly quickly. because this is all over town--who from? other kids. so this will be hurtful and destructive. should we talk about the other family that will also be destroyed by this public humiliation?

the lies and deception he carries out to exact revenge warp him, making him into that which he has come to despise--one lie--really? there were many lies, each night he is with his wife after the discovery and ultimatum--tactile. the woman obviously needs psychiatric help. and the fact he would like to rush into another relationship seems to be an indicator of just how "mad" or psychologically unwell he is as well.

all in all, this is not going to end well, even if the story would like to help you think it will. this is a case study of a man who has been warped by what he has experienced...

Too harsh!

The deception he carries out to get his revenge warps him making him into that which he despises. His wife obviously needs help, psychiatric or other. The fact he does not see this and rushes into another relationship indicates just how "twisted" he is. The kids will eventually suffer and get to know everything from his public humiliation of their mother. While Marie was totally unsympathetic, I find his actions went too far, especially as he was, in comparison, far too lenient with Harry! However, a well written tale with an interesting plot. I look forward to reading more of your work.

I had something like this occur in real life.

My now ex girlfriend, of 3 weeks, has a fear of needles, so she would not give blood. Where I have a rare blood group, so I am in demand. When we were talking about this she said her parents were both 'O' while she was an 'A'. So I asked who her father was. It turns out she was aware that her mother had affairs, including the one that created her. This came up in conversation with her (half) sister. Who refuses to beleive that the mother was a adultress. Anyway the result is that I loose out as it turns out there was no love between her parents and they taught the daughters to be unfeeling and loveless as well. So after nine years of trying to get the woman I loved, to show some affection I gave up and walked away(no kids). All because the mum wanted to treat the Girls EXACTLY THE SAME so her husband would not guess she favoured one over the other. The best way to treat them the same was to show no emotions at all. The girls lerned very well, unfortunately.

Response to PEATBOG

While I can understand your point, I'm afraid I have to fall on the other side of the fence. I was in a long, loving, faithful marriage for over 15 years. Unfortunately, just like in this story, I found out that my wife had an affair for 13 of those 15 years, and one of my sons, the prides of my life and centers of my universe, was not biologically mine. I only say biologically, because he is my son. You have no idea of the soul-searing rage that overcomes you when you find this out. No amount of apology can undo that.

Put simply, you DO become someone else. After getting all the proof together, including names, dates, times, extent, etc. I ran a full page ad in our local newspaper. The ad directed viewers to a web address, which listed all of the proof, including photographic and video evidence (they were fond of outdoor sex). This was seen by her superiors, who fired her for moral turpitude, the PTA, of which she was president, and her church, where she was a council member. She lost everything in the divorce, including money, possessions, friends, family, and self-respect. Our children don't want to see her AT ALL. Her family, who I never really got along with, came down on my side of the fence. Our friends called her "slut", "whore", "cunt", and all of those other fun things you read in stories like this.

Now, I used to be, by nature, a mild guy who really just wanted to make the world a better place. However, my ex-whore's total betrayal changed that. Why? Because the me that was then died. This kind of dark revelation tears a huge rift in your soul. A person really does change. I equate it to being struck blind; all you know as certanties suddenly change, and you better find some new rules by which to live. I now take delight in her suffering, both for her and for her little boytoy. He lost as much as she did. I love it when the boys refer to her as their "bitch mom." Nor will I correct them. They were just as hurt as I was, and my youngest son still attends therapy because he found out that I was not his biological father. He's afraid that I won't love him as much, or at all. It will take years for him to get over that kind of betrayal. My older son just has blazing hatred for his mother. Do I consider myself a bad person? Yes. But I now enjoy it. My ex-slut's actions betrayed all of us. Now she finally feels the pain for her selfish, hateful acts. I want her to live a long, miserable, lonely life with just her guilt for company. Hopefully, she'll just do the easy thing and put a bullet in her brain. Or swallow a lot of pills. I don't care which.

One day, I may go back to being my old self. Probably right after she dies. But I doubt it. The only thing I can hope for is that nobody else in the world ever has to go through pain like this. I would gladly die if it spared one complete stranger from ever feeling this much betrayal.

The best writing, ever

I've read this story several times and each time I marvel at:

1) The utter simplicity how, in the first few paragraphs, he discovers without a doubt, his wife's infidelity. None of this dragging on for pages, with nagging doubts, occasional hints, some suspicions. No video camcorders, no PI's, no late nights with "the girls", no soiled panties in the clothes hamper. BANG! Like a fist to the gut! He knows, for sure, in just a single moment of time. Brilliant writing!

2) The simplicity of the title. The reader knows what is coming as soon as he reads about the medical report, because the story's title is screaming in his head. The reader doesn't even have to know what the report says. Just that his direction is drawn to the blood type. Again, brilliant writing.

The rest of the story is almost anticlimactic. Interesting, but just life. His getting even was just about average, but the emotion from the beginning carries it through. We are still trying to catch our breath from that awful blow to the gut we got in those first few paragraphs.

Ohio has done some remarkable work, but this one is just superb. So simple. So clear. So emotionally charged with just a few words from a truly gifted writer.

All lose

Everyone loses in this story, innocent and guilty alike. No blame can attach to the children and they will suffer worst. Denise next; an affair with someone warped by stress will end in messy pain, even if she avoids marriage, and it’s only her fault to the extent that she should be more careful who she comes on to. Caroline regrettably is only one of many women, real life and fictional, who devote love to a philandered. Bill must be pretty lacking in sympathy if he was so unresponsive to his ever living’s desire for domination; as he demonstrates at the end it’s a game anyone can play and with the right person it’s fun. The wife’s a fool for sex but lots of people are - men and women. Harry is excessively punished for simply doing what his partner loved; he owed duty to Caroline but had sworn no vows to Bill. The duty to protect people from infidelity falls exclusively on their spouses.

Good story but lacks logic

I have enjoyed all your stories. This story was interesting but in the end you just made the wife's life miserable. Why? You did write about about how the wife loved to be dominated and finally in the end of your story you also dominated her forcibly at time. So if you could not understand your wife's needs and satisfy her, then you have to share the blame for that. What was the reason for leaving the BF alone. He deserved to be publicily humilated, more than your wife because your wife seemed to have a problem which you never knew initially and could not satisfy her and which was exploited by the BF. He manipulated her and ended up enjoying the pleasures which you were denied.

So why only blame her. He is rich and he agrees to your monetary demands and he gets away freely. That is ridiculous. So probably you are a guy who like the smell of money and if your wife was rich and could buy you, you would have very nicely adapted to the cuckolds life.

I really hope that you try to understand the point i am trying to make and if you feel i am wrong or not getting your logic, you can mail me on lwyslv@hotmail.com and i would really love to hear your version of justification

Ever hear of a "Power" button?

Great story, Ohio. I think you're an excellent writer -- one of the few who I eagerly look for in the "New Stories" section.

----------

I'd have scored it at 100, except for a teensy little issue with your hero's revenge... it's really easy to cut the power to the projector or the laptop. For that matter, just closing the laptop will immediately put the laptop into sleep mode, and the lying wench would have only suffered a few seconds of embarrassment...

----------

I know - what's a little reality when dealing with the cartoonish themes of a "Loving Wives" story?

----------

Still, it was very inventive, and not the usual comeuppance that the irredeemably evil unfaithful wives usually get in these sort of stories. Keep up the good work!!

Holy Shit....

\\\"Harry is excessively punished for simply doing what his partner loved; he owed duty to Caroline but had sworn no vows to Bill. The duty to protect people from infidelity falls exclusively on their spouses.\\\"

.... Do you have any morals whatsoever? \\\"The duty to protect.... spouses.\\\" What kind of shit is that? Are you saying that it is the husbands job to keep track of the wife? No! Hell no! In this world each person is responsible for their actions and their actions alone. Yeah Harry swore no vows but Caroline sure as hell did. And being submissive isn\\\'t much of a reason. If i was a kleptomaniac does it make it alright for me to steal whatever the hell i wanted to? Well by the way some of the people are responding the answer would be yes, steal whatever you want because it is not your job to control yourself.

Ultimately, not a pleasing effort

The good parts: well-written prose, good pacing, believable characters, uncomplicated resolution of the central conflict.

<P>

The bad parts: the author didn't do his homework because process cannot be served by a party to a lawsuit. The husband shows us his true character by lying to his cheating slut of a wife and then committing adultery. This makes him no better than she is. He's neither admirable nor particularly likeable and, in the end, it's difficult to care very much what happens to this man. He learns that it's okay to cheat on your marriage vows if you think you're entitled. It's not and you're not. If you want to screw around, get a divorce and get after it.

<P>

Not the author's best I think but a decent enough story.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 17 years ago
Someone mentioned taking the wife back.

What idiot would even suggest that? Another implied it is a spouses responsibility to keep the other spouse from cheating. My god, where do character, morals, ethics, ego, respect, and love, get replaced by someone having to watch you 24/7 to make you behave as your marriage vows said you would? And yes it takes two to commit adultry, a spouse and someone who is not a spouse, whether they are single or not isnt really important to the adultry issue. And a guy who commits adultry needs to walk 24/7 looking over his shoulder for the day the husband finds out one way or another, most men will want him to pay in some way for his actions. I damn sure would make sure he paid in someway when he least expected it.

Who's the stupid one again, Anonymous?

Anonymous misses the salient point: adultery isn't like a baseball game where the run score matters. If you break your marital oath, you're a lying scumbag. It does not matter whether it's once, twice or fifty times. If you cheat, you're no better than those you condemn for cheating. If you want to cast the first stone, you better damn sure be pure and holy. Last time I checked, that's hard to do with your dick in a woman who isn't your wife.

thebulletthebulletalmost 17 years ago
Reasonableness, Alvaron

<p>I don't think it is a double standard to view the two cases of adultery seperately. Wifey was a cheating slut for 6 years before hubby found out. Once he found out he made the decision that the countdown was on to the end of the marriage. He was just setting things up so that the divorce and his retribution all fell together.</p>

<p>Under this circumstance, with the marriage not even on life support - it is dead but the legal declaration has not yet been made - the injured party, in this case hubby, can feel relatively justified in seeking solace elsewhere. What wifey did combined with the iminent end of the marriage means that all vows are off.</p><p>IMHO</p>

Landrious1Landrious1over 16 years ago
To Alvaron

In the case of this story the marriage died the first time she fucked Harry. She cheated for six years before she got caught. At the point He discovered her deception and malice the marriage was a dead thing. The vows he gave were nullified by her actions. The minute she became Harry's mistress she forsook all claims on her spouse. Once a promise is broken it is no longer binding. Legally once a contract is breached it is no longer valid, it's no longer binding nor enforcible. The minute she began her affair she voided their marriage contract and therefore his vows were rescinded by her. He was at that point a free agent. As to not being permitted to serve the papers himself, that depends on the jurisdiction. Here a person can serve the divorce papers so long as there is at least one third party witness. Almost anyone will do.(exclusions to this are Family members. No brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, etc.)

Simply Great

See? You can be a great no-wimp writer when you put your mind to it! I just re-read it to get a "happiness" boost. I just love a happy ending!

Alvaron53Alvaron53over 16 years ago
There are no heroes in this story

Landrious1, I'll iterate: if you break your marital oath, you're a lying scumbag. It matters not whether your partner broke his/her oath. As HDK writes in his classic story <I>The End</I>, "<I>If you stoop as low as those you despise, you really have no reason to despise them, do you?</I>" Your marriage contract is valid until a court of law says that it isn't. Just as you do not have the power to declare the contract valid, you do not have the power to declare the contract broken.

<P>

I reject your contention that's okay for Bill to bed down with Nancy because Marie was a terrible wife who had an affair. That is merely another excuse to fuck around. It's not a reason because there are no justifiable reasons to cheat on your marital vows. In my eyes, Bill is a liar and a cheat who'll hump some strange if he thinks he can get away with it. He's just as loathsome in his own way as his wife is in hers.

<P>

If you feel different, that it's okay to get some strange because your partner cheated, when is it not okay to get some? How about when your wife doesn't cook what you like for dinner? Or she spends too much money on a new dress? Or doesn't clean the house just the way you like? Or she's working too much and you're not getting all the poontang you deserve? Or the kids make too much noise while you're napping? Or maybe when you just feel like it? How about if you think she's lying when she says she's not fucking someone else but you're sure she is? How many "reasons" do you have for infidelity?

<P>

Is it like telling little white lies? If I just do it a little bit, it'll be okay? If I limit it to just every now and then, that doesn't really hurt anyone or anything. Does that make it okay?

<P>

My moral position is clear. Yours is muddled, bound up in selfishness, deception and flawed logic. If you think you're entitled to some strange, you're not. If you want to fuck around, get a divorce and get after it. You'll have my blessing. But if you say "I do", you don't get to say later "I don't".

<P>

Lest we forget, this is a good story by ohio, one of his better efforts because it makes us think. My thanks again, ohio.

<P>

P.S. to thebullet, lotta folks feel like you do. I'm not one of them. Lotta people thought the world was flat once upon a time too.

A conclusion to the story

Powerful story. But the plot is a bit shakey. Not realistic enough. Then again this is a fiction. As a lawyer, I have a real life case here with similar events, but with a different ending that goes this; A year after the divorce, Bill & Denise were going to get marry, but Bill has doubt because of Marie's betrayal. Denise suggested he go for therapy. There, at the clinic, he met Marie. From there, he realised that his act of vegence has caused a breakdown for Marie. He realised he have gone too far.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 16 years ago
Nope

What you created here was a guy that demeaned himself down to the level of his 'whore', sorry, ah wife. It's not a pleasant read and it makes me wonder why you've done it. there are many ways to break a relation, even one as ugly as that. To kill her seems to me a cleaner solution than treating her like that. She was already a submissive with no self esteem except the one she got by cheating, to do her like that with their kids watching... What's wrong with this picture Ohio... I can see that you want to test all angles of opportunity in your stories, that I too can find quite intriguing, but you clearly shoot over the target here. The guy in this story deserves whatever is coming to him though, and then some more. He's clearly sick & disgusting too. Cheers Yoron.

Extremely well written and interesting

Well structured and convincing but there are some details all

ready pointed out, process serving by the offended party, fallout on the kids, and especially that cheating to most of us is absolute and two Wongs don't make a White. The thing that really bothers me is that I am not sure that the submissive would not fall into the "in sickness or health clause". Someone to be treated rather than roasted. I know that the torch them crowd would dump on you but I certainly do not feel very positive about the protagonist. He was as self-centered as the lover and his wife.

Why So Much

Why so much revenge on his wife while Harry walked away untouched,it seems like in a lot of these stories the women suffer the most,I,m quite sure it started out by Harry dominating her in the work place, all Harry had to do was sign a couple paper's and pay child support,But he ruined his wife,I know if it was me in her place everybody in town would know who the guy was I was with in the vid.she had nothing else to lose so I,d take him down, and everybody would also know who's kid's they were, hubby would have to deal with that, that way the town would know I had made him a cuckold and had him raiseing another mans kid's for years,I would get at least some revenge on both of them, since hubby was so addement about no one finding out who the real daddy was, with him I feel it was an ego trip,he never once said how much he loved the kid's, all he wanted was to get them away from her.

Great

Finally a good story where the husband actually get's revenge and doesn't become a total wimp.

Although i think you let Harry get of way too lightly, he was just as much at fault as the wife and all he got was beat up for a minute, and had to pay child support(which doesn't really count as punishment as he is supposedly rich)

The revenge to hard or not ?

Great story about the subject of finding out your Kids arent yours ... NO one can predict what he would do in the same situation, the comments made by Anonymous in response to Peatbog explain what the real life effects are on the Family...it totaly changes the wronged Partner if one of his Children is not his ,never mind both that would be a total killer of any feelings for the Cheater...As for the actions that the Husband did take opened up a few questions..Why did he want the Kids ??? I could never live with that reminder of what she did in my life..All i can think of on it is that he was taking them as punishment from the Mother and his fear that People would find out they werent his.. Why raise Kids that arent yours?? as for Harry he got off way to easy since he didnt want the Children signing his rights away was no problem for him,and he would have had to pay child support anyways..Caroline should have been informed about her husbands actions for obvious reasons, she needed to know ..then there should have been a lawsuit on his actions .. as for Denise i thought too it was way to early to date and have sex with her if they realy liked eachother relationships that are so soon during a breakup never work out either..I believe that divorce first and then date,it be a clean slate then..As for him letting Marie think that they were working it out i thought was great twist to the revenge,he got all the sex that she wouldnt give before like remarking his territory that was given away by her it also showed her that she could have had that kind of sex at home from her Husband if she only had communicated her needs to him...It showed her that she had it at home and threw it away..As for the final part, the presentation was great on the revenge aspect, but should have included Harry in it ... Great story, it awakened lots of thoughts on why cheating does not pay ..In the end it just leaves wreckage behind and there is no way to mend it..As for those that feel sorry for her oh well thats why you pay when you play..I wonder if they would be sorry for her if she had given her Husband and Kids aids??I do like the last line

..("Yes Marie,I did.I guess, after all those years of you lying to me,I told one lie of my own.") best .. great read Ohio,i am looking forward to reading your other storys..

Great story

My second read and first comment; Since my first read I have learned a bit about Dom/sub relationships. Bill reacted just as one would expect when confronted by Marie's betrayal. I am beginning to believe that she had little control over her actions with Harry being the Dom. We aren't privy to how it started but (if this were real life instead of a story) I'd bet that Harry saw her sub tendencies and started dominating her before it turned sexual. I see Marie as a victim and as such Bill's revenge was over the top. I tend to have compassion for even the cheaters as human beings. The divorce alone would be devastating with loss of family. No need to make her life permanently miserable. The mitigating factor was the length of the affair. While the affair was for six years, the suffering for Bill was only a couple of months at most.

As far as her comments that showed disrespect, those were for Harry and did not reflect her actual feelings. Marie's concerns for Harry were more about his wife and family than about him.

It is a fiction and the mechanics of the story were truly outstanding. All slouthing done without hiring a PI. It takes far more imagination that way.

Good story, but not enough revenge

The story is good, but his revenge should have gone further against Harry and her. Harry should have been reduced to nothingness. Possibly he should have gotten raped or abused by someone. He likes being dominant so revenge should have stripped him of that forever.

As for her, I think bill should have kept her as his wife, but forever as slave who was never again allowed any kind of sexual relief perhaps a chastity belt?

AnonymousAnonymousover 13 years ago

I really liked this story, but there are two main problems that I have with it. First, the guy who turned his wife into a whore gets away with minimal damage done to him while the wife gets absolutely destroyed. The other part is more important for me (and the story, in my opinion) -- the revenge on the wife was so public and humiliating that there is no doubt the children will eventually catch wind of it.

This man went to such lengths to protect and keep his children that I don't understand how he could cause them such emotional pain, because eventually the other kids at their school will find out and begin teasing and taunting them about their whore mother. Leaving the city won't be enough, they'd have to leave the state completely and hope the kids at their new school don't use the internet. Maybe this can be chalked up to the husband being thoughtless in his revenge, but I figure he would have factored in something like this since he cared so much about the children.

Interesting treatment of a typical revenge story.

Your elements of finding out about the betrayal were interesting. There were too many inclusions of pieces of similar revenge stories, especially the final public humiliation of the female. Guess revenge stories are too depressing at their conclusions to be very enjoyable anymore to me.

Marriage contract null and void

Of course a contract can be decided invalid by one of the parties. Say you have a contract to buy product of a specified quality for a specified price. The product arrives but is NOT up to the quality standard. You don't make payment. The producer broke the contract by not producing up to quality. The receiver of goods, recognizing the contract already broken, refuses to follow it and doesn't pay. The receiver may even go to a different manufacturer and buy from them instead. Are they being unfair to the original producer that failed to meet the contract terms? Of course not. The courts may or may not get involved but if the quality isn't there the court will only make a recognition, after the fact, that the producer broke the contract. <br><br>

In this marriage she broke the contract flagrantly for an extended period. His affair was payback and he was open about what he was doing and why. When someone abuses a contract relationship, not only might it be canceled but damages might be assessed as well. His affair was her payment of damages. Responsibility for extramarital affairs have been effectively removed from many legal systems. Cheating doesn't affect the settlement of a divorce. Since what she did was outside the legal system's reach, he paid her back in kind. <br><br>

Was he an ass for stringing her along? Probably, but he was well justified. Six years of betrayal, lies, humiliation, and abuse. Raising children that are not his. He has NO effective legal response that he can make beyond divorce, which is not really a punishment. So he has an affair and publicly embarrasses her. If he is a scumbag he is one solely because she forced him to be one. <br><br>

The lesson is to always have a prenup that says the cheater is tossed out without a penny. Then you don't have to play games like this. <br><br>

Oh, and Harry deserved to have his nuts smashed to jelly for his arrogance and disrespect.

Well-written story

Amazing that a story written 5 years ago is still garnering comments. A story that stands the test of time is in and of itself a good one. I never commented when I read the story several years ago, but I have a few observations (after reading it for the second time). Even though these observations appear critical, please note that I really enjoyed the story and I am grateful we have writers like Ohio who are willing to share their stories and entertain us readers on Lit.

1) This is a feel-good story for the TTBC (Torch The Bitch Crowd). Marie betrayed Bill in the worst way, humiliating and angering him in the process, once he found out. She cuckolded him, had him raise her lover's children, and withheld love and sex from him at the instruction of her Dom (Harry). It's clear that her definition of love was far different from that which our society considers to be the norm. Bill's punishment of Marie was harsh, but it could have been worse. He might have gone postal.

2) In real life, the kids would have provided some element of protection for Marie. Embarrassing her and publicly humiliating her would have hurt the children. Bill claims to love the children, though he just learned he's not their biologic father, and he would not wish to hurt them. Having their mother portrayed as the slut of the community would have hurt the kids, and would have told the public Marie cheated on him, so he would not have done this in real life.

3) Bill indicates he would not want the community to know that he was cuckolded. He wants to shield himself from public scorn. So that is why he extorted money from Harry instead of suing the company for whom Harry and Marie worked. He also could have settled with that company for seven figures, far more than the $10,000 per year per child he is getting from Harry. And with a settled lawsuit, Bill has all the money much quicker, and he does not have to be the landlord always chasing the client to pay the rent. He can forget about Harry.

4) In fact, suing the company actually results in a better outcome than Bill achieved in this story. Harry would be fired for sexual harassment (since he was the supervisor, he is automatically blamed under current guidelines). His wife Caroline would learn of the long-term affair, so she likely would divorce him. Marie would probably be asked to leave, since she was an instigator and she maintained the relationship for 6 years. A settlement might include a non-disclosure clause, so everything would be under wraps, protecting Bill to a great extent.

5) As blackmail material, the photos contained in the Powerpoint presentation would have been more powerful had they been reserved for divorce proceedings. Once a secret weapon is used, it is no longer secret. Bill could have used the DNA tests as grounds for divorce, then saved the photos to be used should Marie try for a custody battle.

6) Since Bill no longer loved Marie, where is the enjoyment of screwing her for the four weeks before serving her for divorce? By lying to her, he lowered himself to her level. That part unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth.

6/19 Nony: He couldn't sue Harry.

Not and have his plan work. He was blackmailing him. A lawsuit that has very little legal backing these days (i.e. Alienation of Affection) would mean a counter lawsuit for blackmail/ extortion, and those are very workable.
