'Tis Better to Have Loved

it was alright

I find nothing wrong with coincidences, but finding out his father was the old man and that his mother was killed by who he thought was his father… Like something out of a Greek tragedy. Also, his diary reading like a story with dialogue was kind of odd. The premise wasn’t bad, and if it were fleshed out a little more, maybe some closure at the end (i.e. the encounter with his father), and a some ambiguity about whether or not the story was related to him, so he could maybe do a little detective work on his own, it would have been a 4 or 5. Keep writing, it was a good start.

I just went by this story and thought it was so sad but I wish it had a part 2 or something. This was a very good story though.
