Really liked this story BUT......
I agree with KarenE. Mary is a complete bitch. She walks out and never tries to figure out what happened? Then she just takes vacation time and stops trying to find him? The self centered bitch was cheating on him. She just bribed the guys not to rat her out. With a lot of sex. He was right. He should have just let her go. And if his family couldn't get with the program, pack up and move away. Like the story but once again, I really didn't like the ending and I don't mind a good reconcilliation story.

Let's see, she finds him hung-over with someone's bra and panties (and as he said, if she took two seconds to look she would have KNOWN whose it was and that NOTHING could have happened!) and lipstick on his shorts, and SHE'S totally justified in having NOTHING to do with him, and he gets NO SUPPORT from anyone.
Then he SEES her dating and dirty dancing, and cuddling in barroom booths with other guys, and HE'S the bad guy for wanting nothing to do with her, and even his own family doesn't stand by him!
I WILL give her one SMALL defense: someone asked why she didn't talk to anyone. The only 3 people who knew the truth were out of town for at least several days.
