good point

I have known a few that weren't religious till they were given a diagnosis of their life's termination from illness of some sort

What a great piece

Short, sweet, to the point. I really liked this! I read it, then went to see what Ms. Tristesse had to say in the top list. Defintely agreed on the point of 'makes one want to know more'.

May I add a little suggestion? I might have not put quotes around the not and hot and let people deal with figuring it out, because it is certainly worth the effort.

I'm off to find out more about Anthony Flew.

Very Good!

An interesting poem --- what is this about people as they get older --- do they think religion is like a term life insurance policy --- they shud live the life they have --- what happens later (if anything) will take care of itself.

I like your man & wife series better.

Leon, You need to get back to that one. But this? Okay, it's pure you. He seems to be hedging his bets. CP

Interesting

i saw him speak after his change of belief, and I'm quite convinced he was in sound mind. Having seen him speak almost twenty years prior, I did not notice much difference in his basic mannerisms or mental acuity. Beside, if he were truly hedging his bets, he would have become born again or converted to Islam.
