Nicely subdued illustration

To me, I can take this poem several ways. It's short but the ending lines caused me to think of two things. Denial appears to be darker than the other words and makes me wonder if this was done on purpose. Something tell me yes.
Anyway, I enjoyed it. I could go on and on about my thoughts on these short amount of words, but most likely I'll embarrass myself. It wouldn't be something new, but still. :)
