A Poet's Wicked Pen

Maybe a tad long but a lot of good lines. I like the repetition of certain words and phrases. What form is this poem? Reading the first part, I thought maybe you were using a form, but now I'm not sure. Hmm... But I do like it. It's different.

Maybe a bit of tweaking here and there
But this is one time it seems
Length works well in telling the story;
Gives more impact to the ending lines.
