She's still lying to him and hiding things. Unless she is more honest she's always going to be vulnerable, and the chief and his slut of a wife are likely to take advantage of that fact, even if no one else does. Hell, they essentially raped her on 2 occasions already. I wouldn't mind a follow up chapter or 2 about how they resolve this. Does she come clean? Does the chief abuse his position again to run her out of town? Does he find out more about where she was during the time she was gone? Do they upgrade and purchase the motels? Do things work out and they end up married? Honestly, that's what I'd like to see, but face it she's probably to fucked up for anything long term to work out unless she does counseling. Good story though most of the characters are not very nice or likable

seems to be a problem with continuity, like ther arte some pages missing. You need an editor. Ending was poor, like you got bored and just stopped.

This story had my interest from the first chapter. I didnt like the chief running Hanna out of town. Was glad you brought her and Tom back together. Have to agree the ending was a little abrupt. But you left us with enough to connect the dots on the unsolved rape. Just unsure about the chief and Penny dynamic toward the end was about. Left with some uncertainty how the chief would continue to treat Hanna. Also had a weird feeling if Hanna would bolt again or would weather any storms to stay with Tom. Great writing skills in my book!

I have read All your stories and really enjoyed them. I hope there are a few more in the tank, esp the 10+ chapter ones.
