Ok, the creep made the high school student 18. That's not enough. The acts depicted in this story, i.e. a sexual relationship between a high school teacher and a high school student, constitute felonies in the State of Ohio, and in most other states in the US. Directing the high school play and having sex with the 'star' student? Come on Lit editors. It concerns me that my own first story submitted to Lit was rejected, because it contained details about growing up that included my first sexual experiences. Sure, many stories on Lit involve acts that are viewed as criminal in some states - certainly the incest tales and the gay stories, and anal sex is still illegal somewhere. It is my opinion that this story should not have been published on this site.
