Love is...

Love is not jealous,

I'm so jealous,
I love you...

(mostly I love your words.)

I've missed your rich poetry. Thanks for giving us this one.

Carrie.

You disappear from the new poems list for such a long time, but when you come back, you bring this with you. You're such a talented bastard, JC.

STONE's TALK

JC: very nicely done - the hanging word above the next line is a refreshing twist I've not seen before, the neophite that I just
am
now

Once in a while.....

...I read a poem in here and wonder what it's doing in here. That's the case with yours, JC, it should be in black and white in an elegant little book with classy binding and a ribbon book-mark not a porn site poetry section - but I'm glad I had the chance to see it.

Why hello

And a sincere welcome back, JC. I'm not enough of a poet to describe the experience I get from reading this poem. It pulls me in after two lines, and refuse to let my eyes of thought stray from it.

A poem that overcomes its faults

For once, here is a poem on Literotica that overcomes its weaknesses to become very readable and praiseworthy. This composition does have structural and technical flaws, but in its totality it overwhelms such minor distractions, a rare occurrence on a free poetry site, particularly this one.

This poem by JCSTREET is as good, if not better than any other submission I have ever read on this site. It certainly starts 2006 off strongly with a "poem of the year" that will be hard to top.

Thank you, JCSTREET, for a poem worth reading to the end, a rare occurrence on Literotica.

let's take a look at VIII
starting with:
"in the twilight of my life" -shopworn, but forgivable
and ending with
"Is only an army of stones" - the MFA cliche of the last decade.
Stones must be significate, it is also the title. It has tight interplay with:cathedral and stalagtites in VIII, strong with IV, none that I can see with VII. At II it is strong at the beginning, but derails itself at: "found each other as bookmarks"

Occam's ambiguities - this I find strange

clamoured for action im-
patient with Occam's - this break excellent Q. why not the razor?
Much good here, it has been already covered.

cliche?

"an army of stones" returns 142 hits on google. I don't know how many of them occured in the past decade.
