Excellent

Have to admit, with the memory lane walk you had me a little worried. But when you mentioned his business partner I knew they were together.

Wondeful story.

Excellent writing!!

Troubador:

This Horny 'ol Sailor loves a fine story and you provided just that. But best of all I love a happy ending and you gave us that in spades. Thank You Ronnie W.

Troub, you're the man!

This story was fun from start to finish... and a little sad in the middle! Thanks for taking the time to write it!

Just....

wonderful....what a story teller you are. This peice is so overwhelmingly wonderful without all the gawdy sexual crap that one such as myself just likes to read on occasion....yes, i would say one of the best love and passion stories i've read in a long while. Thank you for sharing with us. as always respectfully fan in Texas

great story.

If you are not a published author you should be. This is a wonderful story.

It's interesting that even this kind of lightweight writing has a following. I found your phrasing to be wincingly trite and contrived. Harlequin probably rejects a hundred such sophomoric submissions daily.

Still got it

Nice job Troubador. Glad to see you haven't lost the touch. Thanks for a literate, warm hearted story. 60 year old George

A Home run

That is what this tale is a Home Run! Troubador has used a fine hand mixing romance, pathos and torrid sex scenes to make this a fine tale. I especialy like the way the tale was broken into short chapters instead of these 10 to 17 pages. Makes for easier recovery when you have to interrupt your reading. Thanks for a terrific tale

Great Story

A really good story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was long enough so that I could really get into it.

Just kept getting better and better.

Hello Troubador,

In the early chapters you couldn't make up your mind whether you were writing in First or Third person, But that doubt soon cleared and you've spun an admirable story. Get yourself an editor.

In fact rather more than admirable it has been excellent and all I am going to add is Thank You.

WHATS TO SAY?

It don't get no better. Although a lot of it is written at a level my mind dose not normally operate at. I had to wake up some sleepy brain cells but once they figured out I was not going to drown them in alcohol everything made sense.

What can I really say

The total story is top of the line. All 12 chapters are a must read to really appreciate this story and the first rate writing of this author.

One of the finest stories on this site.

I'm not clear as to whether this is the 3rd or 4th reading of this gem of a story. Only from the pen of the "Troub" could something like this be possible.

God speed old friend, you are missed.

The wife was one confused individual. Hard to believe she was an adult. The spouse begins to act out of character after decades of marriage and she never asked why? Great story, but despicable characters.

Too

This story is far too long for what it was.At least, half of it could have been left out without spoiling it.

A wonderfull storey, I loved it, unlike the comments below I thought the length was just right.

The only thing I can say about this story is so much for those wedding vows: ' for better or worse'. Guess the deceased husband found out. Not! After many yueats of an ointimate marriage, the husband goes haywire and she suspects nothing? Then abandons him, moves on, and finds a lover? Long story to cover a multitude of oath breaking on her part. Were this a press article I would be wishing her a really miserable life followed by one of Dante's deeper circles of Hell. I went through almpst a decade of severe illness and aggressive dementia by a wife from constant pain and never left her side. Nor my young adult children. And I did have a close female family friend with whom I was never romantically involved (a widow) built helped me in dealing with it. We remarries two years after my wife's death as older help mates and she would have approved. The author writes a good story but I from found it depressing for the main characters lack of faithfulness and fecklessness.

A great story!

In keeping with the new young breed here at Literotica, recent comments are mostly negative and focus on the indiscretion.

Of course the fact that most couples these days live together before marriage.....

Oops! My mistake - of course you have separate bedrooms.
