First read of a magnificent tale
A few years ago my wife and I were going through the same kind of ordeal which the two people in your story are placed. We didn't have a cabin to go to but did find each
other aboard a sailboat which we took on a cruise through the great lakes. Your writing is supurb. Your story should be read by the multitudes and just in case I haven't said it....I loved it. Ole Reb
Wonderfully Real
Sometimes reality adds an erotic edge that is not quite there in pure fantasy erotica. You can't get much more real than the thirty years of mental and emotional games that couples play. The cruel games make you sometimes wonder why you continue. When the reality of how precious and how brief our life spans are illuminates as shown so well in your story, then true enjoyment of how erotic this live can be returns. Thank you for reminding me.

Having been married to the same wonderful woman for the last 40 years, I can appreciate the ‘problems’ of Jeff and Barbara in the context of a long married couple. The effort to continually appreciate and show appreciation of your partner’s actions, which may not always coincide with your own desires, can result in stresses, both mental and physical, requiring much love and understanding to preserve the relationship. Thanks for reminding us of this! I agree that this should be required reading for all "mature" married couples. Pete.
