Redeem the heroine

Engaging characters are what make a romance. We have to care about those characters to be interested in the story and what's happening to them. I hate this "heroine." I'm hoping you redeem her in the next chapter.

rather....

short for my normal tastes...i have a hard time getting the feel for the "motivation" of the story in such a short chapter but you pulled it off well and left it well..hope to read on soon enough and see just where this is going.
