Very funny! I laughed a lot reading this story. Still, I wonder about the structure of the story -- why is Phil a necessary character? It seems like almost a fairy-tale structure, with the three daughters and the mother, but Phil is peripheral. His odd appearance, described at length, never turns out to be significant in the story. Mind you, I enjoyed reading, but that's my constructive criticism for the day: make sure each character is necessary for the story.
