A real classic! A very nice piece of writting.

I assumed "troop shit" was a typo until I thought about my two experiences on one and decided it was pretty accurate!

This is a great story and was fun to read. It made me thing more than a little... what more could I ask for?

I just have to say a very well written story. It was one of those cannot stop reading stories, with a lot of great background and a believable plot.

As the cycle pulled up, the figure on the porch arose and smiled at the couple. But he quickly pulled the Garand from it's place beside him and fired a single shot into the cyclist forehead. The body slamming backwards from the concussion, a look of terror spread over Amy's face..........for only a milisecond, as the sights acquired her profile and the '06 roared again, bye,bye Amy. The brass hulls rattling down the porch and onto the walkway steps. JUST PLAIN BLOWN away

I'm shocked because no one hid in the closet, there weren't continuous gangbangs going on, nobody got off on 12" black schlongs, and no one got any cream pies. Just when you thought it was safe to read another JPB story, he goes and does this. Awful, I tells yah. Just awful.

War changes men and women. The way we treat our veterans in this country is a big disgrace. That we should spend our money helping veterans and others in our Country rather than sending billions overseas should be obvious. But then our politicians are the worst of us......

I relate so much to this one. Coming out of Nam It was hard not to just explode when someone would just irritate me.

First time I've seen this very good story. This seems true of every soldier in any war. It took me a while to settle down. I was able to get the help I needed, although not like this.

My Job in Vietnam war theater was not to shoot and kill; It was to do my job to return many Pilots back to combat. They did the KILLING. USAF wouldn't let me have a M-16

even though I was highly qualified. My wife was lied to and seduced by a USAF MAN

while I was in Nam. I never knew till a couple of years ago. That man is now dead; it was not murder. The disrespect USAF wife put on me had me in mental strain and I didn't every know why. I divorced her after 16 years of ugly disrespect.. then years later found out many truths.. Wars more than just this type of story SO, 26thNC you might of had it sort of easy.
