Did the stupid bitch ever hear of "The morning after pill"...?
If you realized you did something stupid you'd never do again, wouldn't it make sense to try to ENSURE nothing came of it...?
And she calls herself his "loving wife" in her letter to him but she'd KNOWN the guy was going to fuck her when she went in his office. What seems to have upset her most are the facts the sex wasn't that good, there was no love in it, and he wasn't hung as well as her husband.
So if he'd had a bigger dick, had lovingly kissed her, and the sex would have been good... She'd have been OK with that...?

Didn't ring true to me
I know that sometimes writers start with a plot or situation, and work backwards from there to write characters and dialog. Unfortunately, that's how you get this kind of mess. These don't feel like real people, with real emotions. They are saying, doing and feeling things to fit in with the demands of the plot. That's what makes wooden characters like these and uninteresting stories.
Totally unconvincing. No angst. Swing and a miss!
