Don't you know how to give some kind of foreplay story in a fantasy setting such as this. Your scene is good, but by itself is not worthy of reading.

beaches are romantic places but the only times I've tried to move on to "games" I found sand to be a big, big problem -- that was always in my mind when I read this story.

on the other hand your swimming pool story was both romantic and sexy ...
