My only difference of opinion here is that all "Pride Parades" are not freak shows. Some are well organized and indeed I have helped in that organization. As with everything else in life, no one is forcing you to attend or watch the parades on tv. I would never stay at an event where people are having sex in public. Why were you there in the first place? My instincts say you're exaggerating here, I don't see what the big deal is about celebrating Pride day once a year!
