Such an appropriate illustration - a fallen feather on a bed of green growth. "I want to see the end not fall head first into oblivion" is a beautiful line and so right for the accompanying image.

The last verse makes me think twice....are we talking about Icarus from Mythology, The son of Daedalus who, in escaping from Crete on artificial wings made for him by his father, flew so close to the sun that the wax with which his wings were fastened melted, and he fell into the Aegean Sea,
or "Icarus" An asteroid with an eccentric orbit that approaches close to the sun. re: Lost in oblivion.
