Provenance Error
I enjoyed rhe story as with all your efforts but you err in your prologue. The recently demised Mickey Spillane wrote 'Mike Hammer'. Sam Spade was Daschell Hammet's 'anti-hero' private investigator.

And I actually really liked it. It was different and quick. I didn't get what was going on till about half way though. Yep I thought she was having an affair too, but I didn't think about the angle of a pre-nup, so that was different and a surprise.

Just thought you should know that Mickey SPILLANE did NOT write the Sam SPADE detective novels. That writer was Dashiell Hammett!!!!
