I was just looking around for some interesting storys to read about a year ago. I came across culture shock. And wow. It spoke to a part of me that I didn't fully understand. I honestly still don't. But atleast now I understand myself a little more. Thank you so much for writing such a diverse story to share with everyone. It seems to touch people on many different levels. And yes it was this story that inspired my name. I do agree it ended to soon though. But all around wonderful story. : )

Not only of the story but of the writing style, both of which were a staggering work of genius. I've never been so enticed by a story like this, I was on the ede of my seat towards the end, and I'm just so happy with how it ended! Although I would LOVE for you to write about the weekend, I'm not quite sure if that would ruin the story, as I'm sure this was to introduce people into the BDSM scene (as Elaine gets introduced to it). holy fuckin shit..

I wouldve died had a gorgeous man talked to me like that in a resturant >.< This story explained so much and brought my temperature to a rise several times. Few spelling errors, great visionary scenes, you totally messed up this genre for me since i doubt anything is as well done or amazing as this

Couldn't stop reading

Can't get this out of my head!

Phenomenal journey of the ‘ideal’ we can all only dream of! Read FOUR times in the last two weeks and can’t stop drooling over Gary – he’s invading my dreams and I’m neglecting real life responsibility by being drawn to this over and over….

A few technical problems noted by my overly critical/editorial eye. One specifically – the date of the contract is incorrect if they began chatting on April 29 (per Chapter 3) two weeks later, “the big weekend” would be May 12-14 instead of May 6- 8 as written. There are similar other inconsistencies, as well as grammatical errors. However, in the grand scheme they certainly don’t take anything away from the exquisite plot and character illustration.

In full understanding of author Sir Nathan’s ultimate point of this journey of ‘curiosity to submission’ and ending superbly the way he does, I can’t help my own selfish desire (with the numerous teasers embedded within) that Sir Nathan will one day continue the journey of Elaine and Gary. There are still so many ‘ideal’ lessons and philosophies to explore of the lifestyle and healthy relationship progression. These two characters seem poised and ready for the challenge.

I have done a lot of reading, a bit of writing, and a lot of keeping things to myself. I am dyslexic, so reading is a slow process for me, but when i read, i live the story. I have been as wet as she has been, as exited and as aprehensive. Thankyou, but i do need need new sheets.

Way better than 50 shades!

I read this a while ago when a friend told me about it. It was way before I read 50 shades of grey and a while after reading Beauty's Punishment and THIS story is awesome. I love the characters and I love how I can feel like I'm right there in the story. I was sad when it ended. But, that's how I knew it was a goodie.
