I like this partly because the images are so clear and also because of the sharp contrast with the ancient European tradition that the willow tree is associated with malevolent magic.

EXCELLENT poem! Tempo to topic, (~_*) I see the deer in blue... the Heron peg legged and recalled a flavor, I have not savored in awhile, redfish! But what I miss the most, fishing under the over hang of a black willow. Paramount poem! (~_~)
