Quite moving... I can closely relate to this feeling. Which leaves me asking, just how crazy is it?
Journey.
In spite of everything ~ the 26 year journey was worth it. This poem has an undertone of sadness. Well Written!
I know that place...
...cept for I was waiting for the 3 lanes of oncoming, rush hour traffic to slow so I could cross, I wondered...what if I just stepped off, right into this stampede of steel. Apparantly I didn't want to know that bad. Great poem!
