Wrong Category?
The dialog is well written and believable, but there's no element of mind control in this. Did you perhaps post it to the wrong category?

I found this unusual and it really held my interest. But I was also confused by the category you put it in.

Well the whole story is about a woman manipulating information out of a man, so I think that is the rationale before mind control. It's pretty original to see a mind control story that doesn't involve hypnotism or sex slaves.

Sorry Husband
Although I didn't enjoy the story, I feel sorry for the wife, and even sorrier for the husband.
Under noticed HDK’ish story!
It is a very unusual situation when I find myself agreeing with all five (so far, as I am writing) previous posters which all made good points!
I always held the opinion that attentive spouses can notice if their other half has been involved in something fishy. Their body will turn them in even if their words won’t. That’s the deeper level of “Body parts” which appealed to me. The other level is the obvious one – the list of body parts the wife drags the husband through in her questioning.
Nice double- entendere play with the story name and a wonderful HDK’ish short story. Certainly under noticed so far.
