I feel for the father. He can't face life without his family, but he's afraid of potential damnation after suicide. The ultimate Catch-22.
I cried when I reached the end.
No.I didn't "love it"; it's a terrible tale, but it should be required reading for all drivers. As an EMT I can't begin to tell you what I have seen and had to contend with as a result of gross stupidity and negligence of parents and friends in a car.
It shows that sometimes things go from bad to worse. In the end we all die and they throw dirt on your face. Life sucks.
