this is a touching poem

none of my family is in the military, but I support them all for everything that they do. And of course, I wear my red shirt on Friday to show my support as well. This was the most touching poem I have read here in a long time-thank you!

As a retiree I can tell you these are the type of sentiments that mean so much when far away from home. Well done.
As an aside, I did notice that this needs some careful editorial tweaking -- "A year has past..." should be "A year has passed..."; there are other instances where plurals/possessives need fixing. The hardest part when writing on a subject of personal importance is being ruthless in proof reading and editing your work.

A very..

moving and touching tribute to our men and women in uniform...But I still think that the first ones we should send is the politicians.. then and only then will they ever understand.

Pround of the soldiers

I am proud of the men and women in uniform that protect freedom every day. I have many friends that serve and protect us all the time.
