I can understand the need to have someone in that way. People long to feel loved and wanted. Even if it were in a situation as the story. Sometimes it seems someone is better than no one at all. Well written and loved the dialogue!

Very Hot. The twist at the end was a bit of a downer but doesn't detract from the excellent writing.

You know in the world of "You've Got Mail" and other "chick flicks"....I thought FER SURE that Mouse was gonna turn out to be Connie at first...You knew that, didn't ya cc? But instead, you gave us a much more realistic twist...and for that this story gets extra kudos! A little sad, yes...but it shows how people will find the ways to get what they need to keep on truckin' down the highway, huh? Yup...:)
