You change person and tense so often I'm getting whiplash!

Is Leah the narrator's date, his wife or his ex-wife? At various points in chapters 1 & 2 she seems to assume all of these roles.

and follow some sort of consistent story line. Why mention the old Jet Set Club, and which one there were four in Houston between the sixties and the eighties that evolved into Wish's Club which still exist. Or perhaps you are talking about the smaller Jet Set Club in Dallas? Dont really see how that relates to the story tho.

Author trying to do something he's not capable of, write a coherent story.
